Those kinds of things make me feel better.

I hope you are feeling better now. I've been having some of the same struggles...feeling alone (I can see that I'm not!), feeling blue, feeling like I could skewer somebody, blah, blah. We will commiserate togetha! Hang in there, sis! Check out one that I did (full disclosure: it was a sponsored post) about menopause and hysterectomy:

http://www.biotemedicalblog.com/2014/06/27/hormone-pellet-therapy-after-hysterectomy-oophorectomy-aka-total-hysterectomy/#more-178Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3422383139355516259.post-6553361282726197772014-03-20T15:38:25.982-07:002014-03-20T15:38:25.982-07:00Oh, my heavens, I apologize for not seeing your co...Oh, my heavens, I apologize for not seeing your comment sooner, Susan. You are definitely, emphatically not alone. I had EXACTLY that same moment of googling menopause + depression, and I found Virginia Anderson, blogging as HomeRearedChef at BlogHer.com, and some other women who have probably saved my life. Feel free to email me -- or check out the midlife community on BlogHer if you haven't already. Ellen Dolgen has a good menopause blog, also, at http://ellendolgen.com/ and a hilarious video on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4TMJ7xyeaE

There is a sisterhood of the difficult menopause. I am 50, obviously having hormonal issues (still getting periods) and/but depressed as hell. I mean, depressed nearly to immobilization on some days -- and with a 14 year old daughter and a husband, there's the added guilt of WHAT ARE THEY SEEING WHEN THEY LOOK AT ME? I am just at a loss, feeling so incredibly alone. Finding your blog, reading just this entry has brought tears to my eyes if only in knowing that somewhere in the ethers, out there, there are other women who understand this without needing explanations. You have no idea the solace that gives me on yet another gray and snowy morning here on the east coast. Maybe I should take a second look too. I've really slacked off of my blogs too - holidays and other writing are more important! AND, I've begun ignoring blogs by those who blog too often. It just takes too much time to read what may simply be trivia.http://solowomenathomeandabroad.blogspot.com/https://www.blogger.com/profile/00116246897231606697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3422383139355516259.post-29871365993949249752014-01-15T07:15:16.760-08:002014-01-15T07:15:16.760-08:00Thanks, Gaelyn.
